We've listed below some frequently asked questions which you may find useful. If you are not able to locate an answer to your question then please complete the form on the right and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

How many guests can your villas accommodate?

All our villas can accommodate upto 8 guests comfortably. If your group exceeds 8 guests then please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your group size where possible.

Are we allowed to have visitors?

As a guest in any of our villas, you are free to have visitors visit you. However if the number of visitors exceeds 4 then please do let us know in advance as entry may not be permitted at the secuirty gate.

Can we book for 1 night?

We currently operate a minimum 5 night stay policy in all our villas. On occasions we may reduce this to 3/4 nights depending on availability. Please check with us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can we have a party at the villa?

You are free to enjoy the villa, however we do advise that noise levels are kept to a minimum after 9.00pm. Any complaints regarding excessive noise levels may result in your accommodation being cancelled.

Is there a daily cleaning service?

Medlock Villas offers a house keeping service every 4-5 days from the date of check in. This includes a full clean of your villa as well as replacement of bed linen, towels and toiletries. Additional house keeping can be request and is subject to a small fee. Please ask us for details.

Are we allowed to bring our pets?

All of our villas are pet friendly and we will be happy to accommodate your pets. Please do provide details of your pet prior to booking as a small deposit may be required.

How far are your villas from Dubai's main attractions?

Our villas are located approximately 8 mins drive from Dubai Marina, 10 mins from Emirates Mall, 15 mins to Jumeirah Beach Residence and 20 mins from Dubai Mall. In Dubai terms, that quite close to everything.

How do i find the villa?

Detailed directions and the full address of the villa will be supplied to all guests via email once the balance payment has been made. Unfortunately due to security reasons we are unable to provide the full address before full payment.

Where do i collect the keys?

All our villas are fitted with digital door locks. Upon receiving full payment for your reservation we will send you an email detailing the full address of the villa and door entry code. You may then arrive at the villa at your convenience and enter using the code. This code will act as your key for the duration of your stay.

When can we check in?

Our standard check in time is 3pm, however if you are arriving early and would like to check in earlier, then please do let us know. In most occasions we will provide our guests with a complimentary early check in where possible.

What time is check out?

Our standard check out time is 11am. Should you wish to check out later, then please do let us know in advance so that we can accommodate your request. Late check out is subject to availability and additional cost.

Do you provide baby cots?

We provide complimentary baby cots and high chairs. Please request this when making your booking and we will ensure they are set up and ready for use when you arrive at the villa.

We are not familiar with the local area. Where can we find the local supermarket?

On arrival Medlock Villas will provide you with a starter pack with all the basic necessities to get your family holiday off to a flying start. This will include various breakfast items and fresh fruit. Details of the local supermarkets can be found on our website, which are within walking distance or a short 5 min drive away.

Is there a breakage deposit and when will this be returned?

A standard breakage deposit of GBP 150 is charged for the duration of your stay and is returned within 72 hours of your check our providing there has been no breakage/damage to the villa. Should find that any part of the villa has been damaged as a result of your stay then please do let us know as soon as possible, so we can rectify the issue immediately.

How can we get a better price?

Medlock Villas offer the best rates when you book direct. This results in an instant saving of up to 15%.

Are your prices negotiable?

Our prices are very competative in comparison to nearby hotels and other holiday villas in Dubai. If you feel that they are over your budget then please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Are there any hidden charges?

All rates quoted are fully inclusive and no further charges are payable.

Are your prices inclusive of taxes?

We do not charge taxes and the price quoted is what you pay.

What are your payment terms?

Due to the very high demand for our villas, we charge a 25% deposit at the time of booking to secure your dates. The remaining balance is then required 14 days prior to your arrival.

What payment options do you offer?

We various types of payment including, bank transfer, credit card, debit card and online payments.

What if we decide to cancel?

All bookings with Medlock Villas are non-refundable. We therefore advise our guests to obtain travel insurance to cover any unforseen cancellation or disruptions to your travel.

Can we get a discount if we stay for a longer period?

Of course, the longer you stay the cheaper your stay becomes. We offer discounted rates for guests staying for 14 nights or more.

I frequently travel to Dubai for work, do you offer corporate rates?

We offer corporate rates to frequent travellers, please let us know your requirements and we will create a custom package rate for you.

Do you offer airport transfers?

We do offer airport transfers at an additional cost, however recommending uusing Dubai Taxi from the airport as the easiest, most convenient and cost effective option. Taxi's are always available and in various different sizes to accommodate small and large groups.

Once we arrive at the villa. Whats the best way of seeing all the sights?

We recommend travelling around Dubai by taxi or if your extra adventerous, then why not try the Dubai Metro. We provide a contact number for Taxi's from within the villa and you can dial out for a Taxi free of charge. Taxi's usually take between 10 to 20 mins to arrive from the time of your call.

Can we hire a car?

Yes you may hire a car from Dubai Airport as the most convenient option. This way you can return your car back to the airport when you are leaving. All our villas have spaces for up to 2 cars.

What if there is an emergency. Who do we contact?

We have a full team based on the ground attending to our villas at all times. All emergency contact details will be provided on your welcome letter as well as your confirmation email. You may call the emergency out of hour’s number at any time and a member of staff will be with you to attend to your needs. Alternatively you may contact us via email. Please remember to include your name and the villa address in your email.

We have been advised not to drink tap water in Dubai. Is this correct?

Yes it is advised that regular tap water is not used for drinking and cooking, however it is safe for all other applications. We provide free mineral water via the water dispenser which you may use for drinking and for use in cooking.
